UEFA Champions League Real Madrid vs AC Milan Real Madrid come into this one still without Cristiano Ronaldo, and that remains the biggest news emanating out of Madrid. Ronaldo is joined on the sidelines by Ruud van Nistelrooy, Christoph Metzelder, Guti and Fernando Gago. The likes of Kaka and Gonzalo Hiquain were both rested at the weekend, and with Karim Benzema, Raul and Rafael Van der Vaart all withdrawn with the match against Real Valladolid wrapped up, one would think all of these players will be featuring from the outset today. Real Madrid manager Manuel Pellegrini know they cannot afford to take their opposition lightly. Real Madrid have the tendency to disappoint in recent times playing at the Bernebeau in the Champions League. In fact, for the past 6 home games in Europe, the Spanish giants have traded a win with a loss. They lost to Roma, beat BATE Borisov, lost to Juventus, beat Zenit St Petersburg, lost to Liverpool and last time out at home, beat Olympique Marseille! If that run continues, they would lose this game against AC Milan! Alright, let's not get carried away. I refuse to read that as Madrid would be losing this - instead, I think that is a reminder to us all that Madrid are by no means invincible playing on home turf, and the quality of the opposition today cannot be disputed as well. As such, do not overstake on this game. AC Milan have not impressed this season, and one may rightly say that has a lot to do with Kaka leaving in the last transfer window. Ironically, Kaka will be donning Madrid's famous white jersey today as he comes up against his former club - a club that idolised him and served him as well as he has served them. Milan come into this game against Madrid having not lost on any of their last 4 travels. However, with Gennaro Gattuso out and goalkeepers Christian Abbiati and Marco Storari injured, Milan will have butterfingers Dida in goal. Sure enough, Real Madrid will miss Cristiano Ronaldo, but they should at the very least break even on the handicap. Tottenham boss happy for Lennon |
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp was pleased for Aaron Lennon after his England performances this week. "I've always encouraged him and told us to give him the ball," Redknapp said. "He can tear people to pieces if he gets on the ball. It doesn't do you any harm to hear that kind of thing. "His confidence is sky-high and he has given Patrice Evra tough times twice last year - not many people do that to Patrice Evra. "He's a terrific young talent, he's learning the game and if he keeps his mind open and keeps working hard on different aspects of his game, he can be a top, top player." Give Us your Comment!!

"Beckha, becoause of his age and the stage of his career, has lost it. And Ronaldo is ideally placed to assume the mantle of 'brand Beckham', especially among young kids and teenagers,"he added. The 24-yea-old Portuguese winger has alredy apperaed bare-chested in adverts for Pepe Jeans, a well as in campaigns for Nike, Coca-Cola, the Video game FIFA Street 2 and Indonesian energy drink Extra Joss.

Manchester United Vs Arsenal Match Blog |
Manchester United Vs Arsenal In the Premier League, it doesn't really get any bigger than this. Over the years, United and Arsenal have provided us with some exciting encounters. Given Arsenal's sensational start to the season, where the Gunners have scored a mouthwatering 12 goals in their first three games, this one could prove to be another fierce clash. Arsenal began their season with a 6-1 thrashing of Everton at Goodison Park. The Gunners then travelled to Scotland, defeating Celtic 2-0 in a Champions League qualifier. When Portsmouth travelled to the Emirates Stadium for Arsenal's first home game of the season, Abou Diaby scored a brace in a 4-1 victory for Arsene Wenger's men, which ensures Arsenal will come into Saturday's late kickoff with Manchester United high on confidence.
